Teaching Sport Sociology via the Blended Delivery Mode (Observations and Reflections)
This presentation will offer observations and reflections about effective teaching and learning in the sociology of sport based on the experience of moving our graduate level sport sociology class from in person to blended delivery mode as part of our entire sport management graduate program moving from in person to blended delivery mode. In addition to highlighting the department student learning outcomes, course learning outcomes, and course key assessment information this discussion will specifically reference both the opportunities and challenges related to teaching this course via the blended delivery mode as opposed to the in person delivery mode as well as suggest implications for practice.
